The Revolution line of rims has been in development since June of 2018. The basis of the whole program was to round out a complete rim offering while implementing all that we learned about The Movement line of rims. We've said it before, and we will repeat it, not all carbon rims are made the same way. We developed an entirely new molding process that improves our layup processing and accuracy. The Revolution mold process allows for even more precise fiber placement and extension than our previous designs. Each rim is still hand-made right here in Kamloops BC! The all-new rim shape allowed us to reduce radial stiffness and utilize less fiber while increasing impact strengths as well. The shape combined with the layup offers a more homogenous system and provides more support to each component of the rim than ever before. We are excited to introduce our new line up! Let the Revolution begin. Faction - Trail Purpose - Trail bikes with under 140mm of travel are fun weapons of choice. When it comes to wheels pairing a bike with the right tool for the job is paramount. Dressing the bike with too wide of a rim does not fit the bill for these bikes. These trail bikes need a good selection of rubber, but also need to maintain their playful nature, and this is our answer. Bring on the 27mm internal width of The Faction. A rim that punches well above its weight in overall strength, but rolls as you'd want on a trail bike. Lightweight and surprisingly strong! Tires - The tires we recommend are a range from 2.1 - 2.5 Weights - 425g per rim. We wanted a rim that was lighter than The Agent, had lower radial stiffness than anything we'd made before, and gain a dramatic increase in impact resistance. With our new philosophy on layup design and these key points, we were able to achieve something truly impressive. This rim is made for those who want to race Enduro at a high level and ride harder than ever before. If you have ever had doubts about carbon rims, look no further than The Union. This is our Excellent Adventure Thru-Axle. It upgrades your bike's rear end for hauling cargo trailers, should you feel like taking Rufus along on your errands. Extensive product testing with our Bill and Ted Trailers provided an "awesome experience," but time travel remains a risky endeavor.
